New Baby Flowers
Soft, bright arrangements to welcome a new arrival — for the hospital room or the new parents’ kitchen table. Balloon bouquets are a separate product type and are filtered off this page, as are funeral tributes that happen to carry the same tag in the feed.
No same-day filter. Florist One's product feed carries no delivery-speed field, so we cannot tell you here which of these can arrive today. Delivery dates are offered by Florist One at checkout for your ZIP code. We would rather leave the filter out than guess it.

About new baby flowers
For new parents, sent either to the hospital or, more often and more usefully, to the home they come back to. The arrangements here are on the smaller side — a median of about 12 inches — which is deliberate: a hospital room has very little surface to spare.
What these cost
Estimated delivered totals in this category run from $94.94 to $124.94, with a median of $99.94 — 4 of the 51 cost less than that. They cluster hard — 51 arrangements resolve to just 7 distinct totals, so a great many of these are priced identically. By band: under $104.94, 31; $104.94 – $109.94, 8; $109.94 and up, 12. Every one of those figures already includes Florist One's flat $19.99 delivery and service charge.
Delivery
- Hospital deliveries need the ward as well as the patient name, and many maternity units have a cut-off time. Ring the ward before you order rather than after.
- Sending to the home a week later avoids all of that, and is usually the better gift anyway.
How to choose
- Check with the family before sending to a hospital. Many maternity units accept flowers and many neonatal units do not, and policies differ between hospitals in the same city.
- Something in its own container beats a wrapped bouquet here more than anywhere. Most of this category is arrangements and centrepieces rather than wraps, which matters when nobody in the house has a spare hand for a vase and a pair of scissors.
- Strongly scented flowers are worth avoiding in a small room with a newborn. Product descriptions list what is in each arrangement.
Common questions
- Can I send flowers to a hospital maternity ward?
- Often, but not always, and you should check with the ward or the family first. Neonatal intensive care units generally do not allow them at all.
- Is it better to send to the hospital or the home?
- The home, usually. Hospital stays after a birth are short, and anything sent there has to be carried home along with everything else.
- How long will they last?
- That depends on the arrangement and the room. We do not publish vase-life figures because the feed does not carry them and we are not going to estimate.
- Is this category only pink and blue?
- Mostly not. Ten or so of these are explicitly a boy-or-girl arrangement; the rest are mixed seasonal bouquets and centrepieces in ordinary colours. The catalogue does not sort itself by gender convention and neither do we.
- Can I send something other than flowers?
- Not through this site yet. We list flowers only.

How we calculate this estimate
- The bouquet price comes straight from the Florist One feed — we never mark it up.
- We add Florist One's delivery and service charge, currently $19.99. They publish it as one combined figure, so it cannot be split into two lines.
- The sum is an estimated total. Sales tax, and any surcharge for a specific date, address or same-day service, is added by Florist One at checkout.
- FlowerDeals adds nothing, and a florist cannot pay to rank higher.
